Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal Call It Quits

Making for quite the short-lived romance, it seems as if country darling Taylor Swift and actor Jake Gyllenhaal have officially parted ways.

The pair made headlines after spending time together in New York City followed by a romantic Thanksgiving holiday in Nashville, but a source now tells People magazine, "They're over. It ended last month."

Cluing insiders into the breakup was the fact that Taylor and Jake spent both the Christmas and New Year's holiday apart - as well as their birthdays.

With the pair having first started dating in October, another insider told Us magazine of the reason behind the split, saying, ""Jake reached out to her and started all of this, but now he?s not acting as interested. He said he wasn't feeling it anymore and was uncomfortable with all the attention they got."

The Us source added, "He also said he could feel the age difference. Taylor is really upset. We told her not to move so fast with this but she didn't listen."
