Neil Diamond Engaged To Katie McNeil

Love is certainly not on the rocks for Neil Diamond and Katie McNeil, his girlfriend/manager. Diamond took to his Twitter page to let everyone know that he will soon be a married man. This will be the third marriage for the 70-year-old, so hopefully third time’s the charm! He announced this morning on Twitter, “Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you’re the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well. Neil”. He followed up an hour later with a pic of his soon to be wife, which you can see above. “I’d like you to meet Katie. I’m lovestruck. I took this photo in London last month. Neil”. Aww, isn’t love grand? Might he pen a ‘Sweet Katie’ song for her? His first marriage to high school sweetheart Jayne Posner ended in 1969 after six years together. Their union produced two children, daughters Marjorie and Elyn. On to wife number two, Marcia Murphey, and together they had two sons, Jesse and Micah.
