Justin Bieber And Boyz II Men Unwrap 'Fa La La' Video

Black-and-white video showcases Bieber's heartfelt singing with his idols.

Christmas is right around the corner, but the Biebs is already in the holiday spirit. On Wednesday (November 23), Justin Bieber dropped the video for "Fa La La" with Boyz II Men. There are no reindeer or presents under the tree; instead, Justin and the Philadelphia R&B outfit sing of a warm love that will endure through the holiday season.

The black-and-white clip begins in an empty loft, where Bieber sings alone, with his arms flailing and face slightly scrunching every time he hits those heartfelt notes. Justin's solo intro leads way to a collaborative bridge, where Boyz II Men join in. "Baby you de-serve eve-ry-thing you want/ It's your night," they all sing in harmony as the "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye" vocalists join the teenage star in song on the front porch of a brick house.

No elaborate set needed. With an empty city as their backdrop, the four crooners throw down in an old-fashioned sing-off. As the track builds, BIIM's Wanya Morris really gets into it, pounding his chest and kicking one leg up to accentuate his performance. Bieber, who is dressed in a white tee and slim-cut leather jacket, tugs on his collar to let you just how much his words mean to him.

On November 1, Bieber teased the clip when he tweeted, "Killed it with @BoyzIImen on DWTS and then just shot a video for our song #FALALA with @colintilley - great night! living a dream. Thanku," in reference to his appearance on "Dancing With The Stars" and the Colin Tilley-directed "Fa La La" video.

Maybe some of Boyz II Men's subject matter was a bit mature for the pint-size Bieber, but they influenced him nonetheless. "He told us his mom didn't want him to sing 'I'll Make Love to You,' so he'd sneak and go sing it somewhere," Wanya Morris told MTV News. "It's also good to know we've influenced such a good artist. It's something that makes us feel we've accomplished [something and] we're doing our job, [that] a guy so young and so into his craft [is] influenced by three guys from Philadelphia that love to sing."

Yes, "Fa La La" is the latest single from JB's holiday LP, Under the Mistletoe, but Tilley and company didn't overload the video with Christmas themes as to so implicitly tie it to December 25 -- after all, true love should last all year 'round.

What do you think of the video? Let us know in the comments!

Justin Bieber To Perform At 'Christmas In Washington'?

Bieber broke the news during an interview in England; performers for the annual concert have yet to be announced.

It sounds like Justin Bieber is going to have a very capital Christmas.

While in England to promote the release of his Under the Mistletoe album, Bieber stopped by radio station Kiss FM, where he not only discussed his fans in the White House, but revealed that he'll be performing at the annual "Christmas in Washington" show, to be broadcast December 16 on TNT.

"President Obama ... his kids really like me, which is cool," Bieber said. "I'm actually doing 'Christmas in Washington,' and I'm performing for him and the whole Senate and all that."

Bieber previously performed at the event in 2009 — much to the delight of Sasha and Malia Obama — sharing the stage with the likes of Usher, Mary J. Blige and Sugarland. He also took the stage at the White House's annual Easter Egg Roll in 2010.

The lineup for 2011's "Christmas in Washington" show has yet to be officially announced, and a spokesperson for TNT did not respond to MTV News' request for comment by press time. But, if he does perform, Bieber can count on the support of the commander in chief, whom he described to MTV News as "really cool."

"[Obama] was really nice, and I was just happy to be [at the White House]," Bieber said last year. "We met [Sasha and Malia], took pictures with them, took pictures with the first lady.

"The first time I met him was a couple months back," he continued. "I got to hang out with him in the Oval Office, which is pretty crazy, because no one really gets to go in there. It was pretty incredible. I got pictures with him."

Who else do you hope performs at "Christmas in Washington"? Share your ideas in the comments!

Britney Spears 'Saddened' By Irish Fan's Death

After Spears' Dublin concert, a fan was thrown off a fairground ride outside the venue.

Britney Spears expressed her condolences Tuesday (October 25) to the family of a fan who died after attending her concert Monday in Dublin, Ireland.

Siobhan Healy, 31, was on a fairground ride called the Tip Top outside the concert venue when she was thrown to the ground and killed instantly. According to the U.K.'s Daily Mail, Healy had attended Spears' concert earlier in the evening at the nearby O2 arena.

"I was saddened to hear of the tragic accident in Dublin," Spears tweeted Tuesday. "My heart goes out to the family. --Britney"

A family friend told the paper that the accident has devastated the residents of Healy's hometown of Willsborough. "The community is very shocked," Michael McGreal said. "I know her family very well, we are all very upset."

An investigation has been launched to find out what caused the accident, with some speculating that the recent severe weather that has swept through Ireland might have been a contributing factor.

Kenneth McFadden, the owner of the company that runs the Tip Top ride, also expressed his condolences. "We can't say [what happened], it all happened so quick," he said. "We are just in bits at the moment, we are just devastated."

McFadden also told the Daily Mail that he has had the Tip Top ride for nearly five years and never experienced any problems with it.

Kristen Stewart In Talks For Role In 'Akira'

'Breaking Dawn' star would play Kei in big-screen adaptation of Japanese graphic novel.
By Jocelyn Vena

Kristen Stewart is currently in "advanced talks" to star in "Akira," based on the Japanese graphic novel. If things pan out, the "Twilight" star would play the female lead, Kei, Deadline Hollywood reports.

The news was first reported by TwitchFilm, who added that Stewart could join her "On the Road" co-star Garrett Hedlund in the movie, as well as Gary Oldman and Helena Bonham Carter, who are also rumored to be starring in the adaptation. In Katsuhiro Otomo's manga, Kei is "a young medium who becomes the love interest for [Hedlund's] Kaneda."

Deadline further reported that the film has been a high priority for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures for about two years now. Jaume Collet-Serra is set to direct the two films based on the three graphic novels. ("Akira" was previously adapted for the big screen in 1988 as an animated flick.)

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Collet-Serra flicks would revolve around two brothers living in a place called New Manhattan. One brother, Kaneda, is a motorcycle gang leader, while his younger brother has telekinetic powers that can be used as a weapon. Stewart's Kei would be involved in an underground movement trying to expose the government.

Should Stewart take the role, it could mark the third franchise on her growing résumé. On Friday, the first of those franchises nears its end with the release of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1." The last of the two-part finale hits theaters in 2012. She's currently filming "Snow White and the Huntsman," which also has series potential.

Run-DMC Recall 'My Adidas' Impact, 25 Years Later

'It was bigger than just talking about how many pairs of sneakers we had,' Darryl 'DMC' McDaniels tells MTV News.
By Alvin Blanco

NEW YORK — A quarter century after Run-DMC dedicated a song to their sneaker brand of choice, DMC is still rocking his Adidas for hip-hop.

On Friday morning (November 11), Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of the seminal Queens rap group was in the Harlem USA clothing store on 125th Street signing autographs for fans who purchased a special Adidas Originals Superstar 80s model commemorating the 25th anniversary of Run-DMC's "My Adidas."

The song was released in 1986 and appears on Run-DMC's triple-platinum Raising Hell album. The hit record was inspired by more than just bragging and boasting about their collection of kicks, though.

"It was a song that was about our sneakers, but it was bigger than just talking about how many pairs of sneakers we had," DMC told MTV News. "It came from the place of people would look at the b-boys, the b-girls and go, 'Oh, those are the people that cause all the problems in here.' And, 'Those young people are nothing but troublemakers and those young people don't know nothing.' So they was judging the book by its cover, without seeing what was inside of it."

DMC continued, "So me, Run and [Jam Master] Jay was like, 'Yeah, we going to make a record about our Adidas.' Yeah, we wear Adidas [with] no laces, we got gold chains, we got Cazals and all of that, but I go to St. John's University. These Adidas stepped onstage at Live Aid. People gave and the poor got paid. It was about taking the image of the b-boy and b-girl and letting the world know we're a people of vision, we're inspiration, motivation, we're educated too. So it's kind of a kick in the face to the people that was hating on hip-hop."

Run-DMC's lyrical certification of "shelltoe" Adidas led to the first-ever endorsement deal between a music act and an athletic company. The limited-edition "My Adidas" Superstar 80s model is the same shoe Run, DMC and Jam Master Jay wore back in the day with special details like the JMJ logo on the heel, "1986" stitched on the side and a gold lace lock designed to look like a dookie-rope gold chain. Only 1,986 of the shoes will be made for sale to the public.

Back in 1986, Run-DMC said seeing all their fans rock Adidas sneakers and gear on the strength of their co-sign was actually a bit disconcerting. "It was scary," DMC said. "We was going through Detroit, through Boston, through Chicago, through LA, through Virginia; every city we went to on the Raising Hell Tour, we would look out the back of the tour bus and everybody had the Adidas [track] suits from head to toe. The Cazals, the hats, the Kangols, and they had those Adidas on. You would think we would sit in the back of the bus and go, 'Yo, we gonna get paid!' "

However, the trio were aware of the responsibility their tastemaking influence carried. "Me, Run and Jay, we sat back and said, 'We gotta watch what we do and we gotta watch what we say,' " DMC said. "Because the music, the image, the concepts was so powerful, if they're going to wear Adidas because we say it's cool, that means they would drink, abuse, fight because of this. We got nervous. I always remember Jay said, 'Yo, this hip-hop stuff is really powerful, man. We gotta watch what we say and what we present to the world.' "

Share your memories of Run-DMC's late-'80s heyday in the comments!

Justin Bieber Beats Lady Gaga In YouTube Race

Bieber becomes first artist to achieve 2 billion YouTube views, one year after Gaga won the race to 1 billion hits.
By James Montgomery

One year ago, Lady Gaga bested Justin Bieber in the race to 1 billion YouTube views, becoming the first artist to reach the plateau and establishing herself as the queen of social media in the process.

Well, now it's Bieber who reigns supreme, blowing by Gaga to become the first artist to rack up 2 billion YouTube views, according to social-media stats service Famecount.com. Bieber set the mark on Monday, thanks in no small part to his 1 million official YouTube subscribers, who help his YouTube site average nearly 94 million views a month.

Bieber, of course, began his career as a YouTube sensation, after videos of the then-12-year-old singer tallied millions of views and caught the attention of manager Scooter Braun and Usher. For most of 2010, he and Gaga jockeyed for position atop the YouTube charts, as the clips for "Baby" and "Bad Romance" battled back and forth to be the most-watched music videos on the site.

Gaga also became the first artist to have her music videos break the 1 billion mark in total online views in March 2010, and nipped Bieber in the race to 10 million Twitter followers in May of the same year.

And while Bieber is now the first artist to amass 2 billion YouTube views, he still trails Lady Gaga in overall online clout. According to Famecount, Mother Monster still holds a sizable lead over Bieber in total Facebook fans (44 million to 37 million) and Twitter followers (15 million to nearly 14 million). Both Bieber and Gaga trail Eminem and Rihanna in terms of overall Facebook fans: Em counts 48 million fans, while RiRi has 46 million.

Jay-Z's 'Occupy' Shirt Won't Benefit Protests

'At this time we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement,' rep says.
By Jocelyn Vena

Jay-Z is set to drop a new T-shirt on Friday (November 11) that reads "Occupy All Streets," a play on the name of the Occupy Wall Street movement that has spread all over the country. On the shirt, the "w" in Wall is scratched out in red. Using the same red font, the shirt also throws a big "S" at the end of the word "street," serving as a very graphic visual of the pun.

"The 'Occupy All Streets' T-shirt was created in support of the 'Occupy Wall Street' movement," a rep for Hova's Rocawear told Business Insider. "Rocawear strongly encourages all forms of constructive expression, whether it be artistic, political or social."

However, the rep confirms that none of the proceeds from sales of the shirt will fund the movement, which kicked off in downtown Manhattan in September before spreading across the country. " 'Occupy All Streets' is our way of reminding people that there is change to be made everywhere, not just on Wall Street," the statement continues. "At this time we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement."

On Tuesday night, Jay-Z was spotted wearing the shirt during a Watch the Throne tour stop at New York's Madison Square Garden. He was seen at the show with Russell Simmons, a fervent supporter of the movement, who seemed to approve of the shirt's message, tweeting, "Jay-Z just took #OccupyWallStreet to a whole new level. Wowowowowowoow."

Over the course of the last eight weeks, the rap community has shown interest in the movement by visiting New York's Zuccotti Park. Artists including Kanye West and Talib Kweli have visited the home site for the grassroots movement.

Britney Spears Says She'd Love To Tour With Usher

In her 'Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale' special, she calls the 'OMG' singer 'really hot right now.'
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Sway Calloway

What do Britney Spears and Usher have in common? Well, they are both global superstars with a back catalogue of tunes that have kept fans dancing for a really long time and they both recently hooked up with will.i.am for tracks on their latest releases (the Black Eyed Peas mastermind worked on the pop vixen's Femme Fatale tune "Big Fat Bass"). And, if Spears has her way, she and the "OMG" singer could be hitting the road together.

When Spears sat down to talk with Sway Calloway for her "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale" special — airing Sunday (April 3) at 9 p.m. ET on MTV — the singer revealed that Usher is first on her list of artists she'd like to join her on tour.

"Oh, I'm so excited. I'm really excited about going on tour, very," she explained about her forthcoming summer trek, which happens to have a spot open on the bill now that Enrique Iglesias has pulled out of the gig. "I think Usher's really great right now. I think he's really hot right now. That would be cool [to tour with him]."

The North American road trip is expected to kick off June 17 in Sacramento, California, and will run for 26 dates, winding up on August 13 in Toronto. More details will be announced soon.

The "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale" special is a mixture of behind-the-scenes footage of the singer as she wraps up production on her album, which dropped this week, as well as an inside look at her life and fans. In addition, those who couldn't make Spears' recent nightclub show in Las Vegas will get to see her as she takes the stage in her latest pop incarnation.

Don't miss "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale," airing Sunday (April 3) at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.

Britney Spears Boyfriend's 'Criminal' Role 'A Challenge'

Chris Marrs Piliero opens up to MTV News about working with non-actor Jason Trawick in new video.
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Vanessa White Wolf

Britney Spears certainly had everyone talking when she dropped her steamy "Criminal" video. Sure, fans were talking about the sex and gunplay, but they were also going bananas over the appearance of Brit's real-life boyfriend, Jason Trawick, who plays her criminally handsome beau in the clip.

The idea to include Trawick in the video was all Britney's, but director Chris Marrs Piliero wasn't sure he was so into it. "When she first hit me up, she had a basic story in mind, and she actually always originally planned to have Jason, her boyfriend, play the role, and I wasn't super stoked on that idea at first, actually," he told MTV News.

Most of his reservations were because Trawick isn't a professional actor and he wasn't sure his rookie acting skills would translate well in the mini-movie. "I wanted to make a really rad, epic video, and I definitely got the sense from her she wanted something really cool," he explained. "And in my mind, I was just thinking then, 'We really should not be using your boyfriend; we should get an actor.' So, I mean, I didn't say that, but in the back of my mind, I'm like, 'I don't like this idea at all.' "

Trawick and his abs, however, managed to impress Piliero — and Britney loyalists everywhere. "At the end of the day, Jason killed it. That was one of those things I was really stoked [about], as much as I went into it like, 'Wow, he's not an actor. This is going to be interesting,' but I really do like a challenge, and I really do like the idea that I'm a director and my job is to direct and get the performance. For me, it was a fun challenge to be like, 'I'm gonna make sure that you are awesome,' and he was."

Piliero also worked with Spears on her video for "I Wanna Go," and he was once again dazzled by her sassy acting skills. "Of course, Britney was rad," he said. "She does a good job at nailing and doing the little acting thing. She's cool at it."

Robert Pattinson Calls Taylor Lautner Ab Comparison 'Unfair'

'I realized [my abs] weren't as good as Taylor's, so I just ate every bit of chocolate,' Pattinson laughs during 'MTV First.'
By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

Much ado is made over the handsomeness of the leading men of "Twilight" — Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner — particularly when it comes to the subject of their being shirtless in any way, shape or form.

Their fervent fans know from reading Stephenie Meyer's books and seeing the first two trailers that there is plenty of shirtlessness in store for them when "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1" opens November 18.

MTV News was lucky enough to sit down with the two heartthrobs during "MTV First: Breaking Dawn" on Thursday, during which we asked a fan-submitted question about how they prep for their shirtless scenes.

"No M&M's," said Kristen Stewart, who was seated between her co-stars.

"Yeah, I didn't eat any candy and I didn't drink any beer for a while," Pattinson said of his health-conscious prep. "I went kind of nuts. Me and Kristen went nuts working out, because we hadn't worked out for any of [the previous films]," he admitted.

Then, upon noticing that his shirtless photo was being held up next to Lautner's, RPattz took offense in the comparison. "This is so unfair doing a comparison. Everyone says I painted on my abs in ['New Moon'] — I did not! Taylor has his painted on too!" he accused with a laugh.

"What?" Lautner responded. "What are you talking about? I don't understand this."

Pattinson stopped his playful ribbing of Lautner for a moment to finish answering the question about his diet before shirtless scenes are filmed.

"I had it for, like, two weeks," he said of his abs, with Stewart agreeing and adding that they gave up being healthy immediately after their skin-showing scenes were wrapped.

"As soon as I didn't have to be shirtless anymore [my good habits were] gone immediately," Pattinson continued. "During [filming in] Brazil, the day before I had to do my shirtless scene, I realized [my abs] weren't as good as Taylor's, so I just ate every bit of chocolate in the mini-bar. I started eating cheeseburgers and stuff."

Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker is not 'angry or honored' by similarities to her '80s and '90s dances.
By Gil Kaufman

Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker is not flattered — nor angry — about claims that Beyoncé's "Countdown" video pays unattributed homage to one of her clips.

"Like so many people, I was extremely surprised when I got a message through Facebook about the special appearance of my two choreographies — 'Rosas danst Rosas' (1983) and 'Achterland' (1990) — in Beyoncé's new videoclip 'Countdown,' " De Keersmaeker wrote in a statement on the Performance Club website on Monday.

Not long after the clip for B's latest debuted, a number of websites pointed out the similarities between De Keersmaeker's work and the steps in Beyoncé's video. Before those side-by-side comparisons started popping up, the video's director, Adria Petty, told MTV News it was an homage to such icons as Audrey Hepburn and the Supremes, as well as classic films such as "West Side Story" and "Funny Face."

In it, Beyoncé not only shows her signature personality and spirit but also her emerging baby bump, and Petty said she presented the singer with a number of classic references, including some German modern-dance clips.

"Obviously," De Keersmaeker continued, "Beyoncé, or the video clip director Adria Petty, plundered many bits of the integral scenes in the film ... People asked me if I'm angry or honored. Neither. [O]n the one hand, I am glad that 'Rosas danst Rosas' can perhaps reach a mass audience, which such a dance performance could never achieve, despite its popularity in the dance world since [the] 1980s. And Beyoncé is not the worst copycat, she sings and dances very well, and she has a good taste! On the other hand, there are protocols and consequences to such actions, and I can't imagine she and her team are not aware of it."

Among the scenes juxtaposed in a popular online mash-up is one in which B is filmed through a window as her similarly dressed dancers cavort in the background, tugging on her shirt and hair in a fashion that is nearly identical to De Keersmaeker, who also sports a similar chopped-bangs look.

De Keersmaeker stressed that she's not angry over the alleged appropriation, but she did wonder why it has taken mainstream pop culture 30 years to recognize her experimental dance work. "A few months ago, I saw on Youtube a clip where schoolgirls in Flanders are dancing 'Rosas danst Rosas' to the music of 'Like a Virgin' by Madonna," she continued. "What does it say about the work of 'Rosas danst Rosas'? In the 1980s, this was seen as a statement of girl power, based on assuming a feminine stance on sexual expression. I was often asked then if it was feminist. Now that I see Beyoncé dancing it, I find it pleasant but I don't see any edge to it. It's seductive in an entertaining consumerist way."

A spokesperson for Beyoncé could not be reached for comment at press time. But according to The New York Times, in a statement Beyoncé explained, "Clearly, the ballet 'Rosas danst Rosas' was one of many references for my video 'Countdown.' It was one of the inspirations used to bring the feel and look of the song to life ... I was also paying tribute to the film 'Funny Face' with the legendary Audrey Hepburn ... My biggest inspirations were the '60s, the '70s, Brigitte Bardot, Andy Warhol, Twiggy and Diana Ross ... I've always been fascinated by the way contemporary art uses different elements and references to produce something unique."

Earlier this year at the Billboard Music Awards, Beyoncé was also accused of mimicking the choreography of a dance by Italian pop singer Lorella Cuccarini. Knowles later acknowledged being inspired by Cuccarini.

De Keersmaeker noted one other, more subtle similarity between her work and Beyoncé's, one that may not be obvious to the casual side-by-side Web observer. While Beyoncé is around four months pregnant in her clip, De Keersmaeker said when she filmed her 1996 film, she was also pregnant, with her second child. "So, today, I can only wish her the same joy that my daughter brought me," she wrote.

'Breaking Dawn' Sex Scene 'Super Serious,' Robert Pattinson Jokes

'It's not just human sex. It's ... obviously blown a little bit out of proportion,' Kristen Stewart adds on 'MTV First.'

Of all the moments fans are eagerly awaiting to see after "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" hits theaters on November 18 — the wedding and infamous birth scene included — few can measure up to the hype surrounding Edward and Bella's first sex scene.

When MTV News' Josh Horowitz sat down with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner for "MTV First" and asked the cast questions submitted via Twitter, it was no surprise that the fans wanted to know more. One of the first questions asked was: "Rob and Kristen, was it extremely awkward filming the love scene in the movie? Were you guys laughing a lot throughout?"

Both Stewart and Pattinson turned quiet after hearing the question, and the answer was unanimous and definitely a joke. "Super serious," Pattinson said.

"Yeah, me too," Stewart agreed. The mood was certainly lighthearted and jokey, but Stewart ended up giving the question a serious answer. "Not to give anything away ... You've been working for so long, and it's also not real," Stewart said. "It's not just human sex. It's ... obviously blown a little bit out of proportion, slightly. It's kind of like the most important scene in the movie. It's so weird."

Pattinson agreed and shared his own, let's say, intimate experiences filming the love scene. "I just ended up thinking purely about vanity things," Pattinson said. "You're sitting there in a little g-string. ... They give me a big g-string, but it was too small for me. It was like old ham."

Not to be left out, Lautner shared his relief to have missed out on a g-stringing in "Breaking Dawn," but reminded everyone that he had his "fair share of g-strings in 'Eclipse.' "

Beyonce Puts 'Love On Top' In New Video Tease

Queen B is reportedly set to release her latest 4 video this week, just a week after she dropped 'Countdown.'
By Jocelyn Vena

Just days after she released her video for "Countdown," are you feeling like you already need a new Beyoncé video? No problem. Queen B's got your back!

Even though she just released the Adria Petty-directed, retro-fied clip for "Countdown" last Thursday on MTV and her "Party" clip is waiting in the wings, Beyoncé isn't holding back her video for "Love on Top." A teaser for the latest single from 4 dropped over the weekend.

Find out what the "Countdown" director had to say about B's video shoot!

The short clip features Beyoncé in an all-black spandex bodysuit, rocking a bedazzled captain's hat, tights and high-top sneakers. She shimmies in perfect step with her all-male backup singers as she smiles her way through the song. The video has the appearance of a performance rehearsal taking place in a loft space full of windows.

While her baby bump was on full display in her "Countdown" video, she doesn't appear to be rocking one in this video. Essence.com reported that the video is slated to drop this week, though no further details are available.

In the minute-plus video tease for "Love on Top," we see B on the same set with the same group of dancers — a far cry from the multicolored, manically edited "Countdown" clip that premiered on MTV last Thursday. The mom-to-be referenced everything from "Funny Face" to "Flashdance" in the fast-paced video, which matched the song's urgent beat. Co-director Adria Petty told MTV News that she and Beyoncé handpicked the video's many pop-culture references. "I brought Beyoncé a number of references and we picked some out together," Petty revealed. "Most were German modern-dance references, believe it or not. But it really evolved."

Beyoncé famously performed "Love on Top" at the VMAs back in August. As she danced around the stage in her sequined blazer, it was her baby bump reveal at the end of her performance that made headlines, serving as confirmation that she and Jay-Z are expecting their first baby together.

The video tease is a variation on the VMA performance, which featured Beyoncé performing the track with several backup singers. That night, Beyoncé took the stage and, during the opening notes of the song, told the room, "Tonight I want you to stand up on your feet. I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me."

Snooki Claims The Situation is Broke

Snooki may not know that Europe is a continent, but she knows enough to save for a rainy day. She extolled the virtues of stockpiling earnings in a recent interview.

She also implied that one of her co-stars - The Situation - is flat broke.

"I save it," Snooki tells GQ of the bank she earns. "Jersey Shore is going to end soon. I'm not going to spend money like Mike [The Situation]. He's already broke!"

Snooki (Nicole Polizzi) PicMichael Sorrentino Pic

In the past, Sitch has claimed that any extravagances he displays - cars, jewelry - are gifts or loans from various endorsement deals. But could it be that he's already flushed his millions down the drain even faster than his morals?

It's certainly possible, as the cast of Jersey Shore (which returns for Season 5 in February) are not the brightest bulbs around. But that being said, it's probably unwise to assume Snooki knows what the heck she's talking about.

Maybe Snooki's just trying to get revenge on him for the drama in Italy ...

Think Mike & Snooki hit it last season?

Britney Spears, Boyfriend Get Steamy In 'Criminal' Video

Brit's real-life boyfriend Jason Trawick stars in Chris Marrs Piliero-directed clip.
By Jocelyn Vena

Britney Spears' posh but incredibly mean English boyfriend asks his lovely girlfriend, "Why don't we see that pretty little face of yours?" at the beginning of the "Criminal" video. That remark sets off a chain of events that will certainly leave Britney fans watching the Chris Marrs Piliero-directed ("I Wanna Go") video on repeat.

As Britney and her abusive beau make their way out of the party, with him yelling at her for standing up for herself as he flirted with other girls, they come across Britney's real-life boyfriend, Jason Trawick, who is playing one really hot bad guy with a heart of gold. The boyfriend slaps Britney, and Jason comes to her rescue, setting into motion their very hot — and very naked — love affair.

He takes her back to his place, where a headline reveals he's -- you guessed it — a criminal. But Britney doesn't seem to mind. She kisses him. He kisses her. They get it on, showing lots of skin and giving fans a sneak peek into their personal life.

They then head to a convenience store, where Britney decides to break loose and hold the place up, guns blazing. After the stickup, the pair steal a car and head back to Jason's loft for a very revealing shower scene that includes lingering shots on their wet, naked bodies.

As they wrap up the steamy shower session, the authorities close in on them, blasting bullets into the apartment. But Britney and Jason just continue to share passionate kisses as bullets soar around them John Woo-style.

Just when you think it's the end for pop's reigning Bonnie and Clyde, the police enter the apartment to see that the duo has escaped, unhurt, driving away on Jason's motorcycle. As the credits roll, everyone's left wondering what they will do next.

Britney first teased her "Criminal" single to MTV News when we caught up with her at the 2011 VMAs in August, and she was already thinking about what the visual element might look like. "Actually the song, when I first heard it, it's really different and it's not anything I've heard like this before," Brit said. "So I really wanted to deliver this song. I was thinking of a really cool concept for the video just to make it interesting," she added. "You'll have to see."

Shot in London in September, "Criminal" is the fourth single and video from Femme Fatale.

'21 Jump Street' Trailer: Five Key Scenes

Trailer references Jonah Hill's 'Superbad' and includes an appearance by a certain 'Parks and Recreation' star.
By Eric Ditzian

The Twitter war between Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum to see who'd get to tweet the "21 Jump Street" red-band trailer didn't exactly work out as planned. Hill won, yet for some reason didn't send out the link, so Tatum stepped in and executed the tweetage. But the new footage is nonetheless here.

The action-comedy — based on Johnny Depp's '80s TV series, of course — stars Hill and Tatum as two young cops who join a resurrected undercover unit, pose as students and infiltrate a local high school to get to the bottom of a synthetic-drug ring. Depp's cameo, unsurprisingly, doesn't pop up in the new footage, but what else does? Let's go ahead and take a look at the trailer's five key moments.

A Lifetime of Being Badass Mother$#@*&%s!
Yes, that's basically the professional goal of Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) when they join the police force. Once in uniform, though, badassery is hardly in the job description. Just look at those poor dudes biking around a park, their helmets and shorts almost as lethal to their images as their guns would be to the bad guys. One botched drug bust later, however, and it's on to the Jump Street squad.

Fitting In, Getting High
The kids at the drug-filled high school are understandably skeptical of the two new students. As Dave Franco puts it, Tatum looks like he's 40. So the cops have to fit in, which involves them taking the synthetic drug that comes in a package with a logo that looks, well, like a red pile of dog poop with a halo above it. So what does the drug do? According to the trailer, it makes you run through hallways and be rude to teachers, plus it leaves your tongue feeling really, really weird.

Do the Honors, Ron Swanson
You knew it was coming, that moment when one character urges a few others to head on down to 21 Jump Street. In theory, there's something inherently nod-to-the-TV-show cheesy about it. Luckily, the honors are bestowed on Nick Offerman, otherwise known as Ron Swanson from "Parks and Recreation." In his hands, with that man's-man beard of his, the line comes out as both hokey and humorous. Well done, Mr. Swanson, or whatever your name in this movie is.

The "Superbad" Callbacks
The trailer doesn't just hearken back to Depp's TV show. It also includes two moments unmistakably linked to Hill's 2007 breakout comedy, "Superbad." In one, Hill and Tatum exit a liquor store that looks a whole heck of a lot like the one where McLovin' tried to score booze for a party. Later, Hill is hit by a car and flung backward, yet isn't so banged and bruised that he can't pop off a curse-filled one-liner. Remember how a similar car-crash-and-curse befell Hill outside McLovin's liquor store in "Superbad"?

Guns, F-Bombs and Prom
For years, Hill has been promising that his "21 Jump Street" wouldn't be a parody, some weak-sauce bastardization of the TV series. He wasn't kidding. This is a hard-R action-comedy filled with foul language, guns galore, a few explosions and the odd sight of Hill asking Tatum to go to prom with him, a date that requires both of them to suit up with enough firepower to take on the T-1000. Now that is a brawl we'd kill to see.

Check out everything we've got on "21 Jump Street."
