They may not be the biggest blockbusters of the year, but ?Another Year,? ?Biutiful,? and ?Blue Valentine? are all set to make a splash today (December 29).
All three films are awards contenders for the Oscars, and will additionally have plenty of presence in the indie film community.
Furthermore, the trio of artsy flicks further serves to confirm the upturn in the independent movie market, following the lead of ?Somewhere,? ?Black Swan,? and ?The Fighter.?
While it won?t necessarily be easy to find ?Another Year,? ?Biutiful,? or ?Blue Valentine? in some cities across the country, New York and Los Angeles seem to be all set.
